The Performance Management and Compliance System (PMCS) is a system that provides a structured framework for public institutions to set clear performance targets, deliver measurable services, and report transparently on results. The award forms a key part of this system, which moves public institutions beyond โplanningโ toward actual delivery by setting clear targets and tracking results in real time.
President Boakai emphasized that "these performance contracts are far more than a bureaucratic formalities, they are a covenant with the Liberian people.โ The system now tracks all 93 public institutions on a single digital platform to ensure transparency and quarterly progress reporting.
Ranking 14th out of 50 evaluated institutions, the LACC demonstrated a year of tangible progress. The Commissionโs 2025 achievements include:
The conclusion of 27 major corruption investigations, resulting in 12 indictments and three convictions.
Asset declaration compliance reaching 90.1%, with 2,430 public officials declaring their assets and 2,360 signing the National Integrity Pledge.
Training of 70 Social Accountability Volunteers and the hosting of investigative journalism workshops for 30 reporters representing every county in Liberia.
A partnership with the Ministry of Education that introduced anti-corruption textbooks into the elementary school curriculum to instill ethical values in the next generation.
The establishment of a new Service Delivery Desk to make it easier for citizens to engage with the Commission.
