MONROVIA, February 13 (LINA) - The Liberia National Red Cross Society Friday launched an anti-stigma song aimed at showing solidarity and support for the reintegration of Ebola survivors into their communities.

Titled “Let Us Live Together Again” and produced by the Musicians Union of Liberia, the song was presented to the media at the Ministry of Information daily Ebola press conference held at the ministry on Friday.
A Red Cross release quotes its Secretary General Fayiah Tamba as saying that it is critical that Ebola survivors be given care and respect as they return to their communities.
Tamba said the message and rhythm of the music reminds Liberians that Ebola survivors are their families, colleagues, neighbors and that they need to be cared for and loved as well as encouraged as they return to the communities.
“Once we treat everyone with dignity we can surely end Ebola in Africa, and as we gradually win the battle against Ebola we can see that the issue of stigmatization is what is left behind,” Tamba noted.
