Guinea hopes to eradicate the deadly Ebola virus by the end of February as transmission rates show signs of abating across the region. The outbreak has crippled the economy

with growth likely to come in at half a percent in 2014, from a previous estimate of 4.5%, according to the World Bank. The economy is expected to contract 0.2 percent in 2015 but President Alpha Conde hopes that once the country is Ebola free, the economy will recover and investment will resume.  Read more on
