Couple Arrested For Drug

Officers of the Drug Enforcement Agency Monday arrested Mr. Dominic Tah along with his wife Madam Mariama Kollon for unlawful possession and sale of Narcotic drug which violated Section 41.23 of the Public Health Law of Liberia.

According to DEA Maj. Abraham O. Paye the couple were arrested with O.3 grams of marijuana value at US$108.00 which equivalent to LD$9,000.00.

Mr. Paye said investigation has establish that the defendants are drug dealers and were arrested with the drug during the search and seizure warrant conducted at the couple house on Benson and Rendall Street.

The DEA Major claim that defendants admitted to DEA investigators that they brought the marijuana from Sierra Leone and has been in business for about three months now.
