ROBERTSPORT, Jan 8 (LINA) -The Commissioner of Tewor Statutory District in Grand Cape Mount County, Magdalene Hajah Fahnbulleh, is troubled that children of school-going age are trafficking and using drugs in the district.

She told the Liberia News Agency Tuesday that due to this engagement the children are refusing to enroll at learning institutions in the area.

Commissioner Fahnbulleh observed that the refusal of young people to acquire education could render them incapable of participating in the reconstruction of their country.

She wants the government to take action to prevent these children from engaging in the importation, sale and consumption of dangerous drugs in the interest of their personal wellbeing and the future of the country.
